Wireshark is a free software protocol analyzer , or ” packet sniffer
“, used in troubleshooting and analysis of computer networks, protocol
development , education and reverse engineering , but also the piracy.
Voice over IP or “VoIP” for Voice over IP is a technology that allows to communicate by voice over IP-enabled network , whether private networks or the Internet , wired (cable / DSL / optical ) or not ( satellite , wifi, GSM). This technology is used in particular to support IP telephony service ( ” VoIP ” for Telephony over Internet Protocol) .

==using Wireshark==
We assume you already own the capture file of your conversation VOIP .
Once you have your capture file , a pcap file , open it with Wireshark .
File -> open -> sip.pcap
We can see that we captured SIP traffic , but for this section , we are more interested in the RTP traffic because it contains the actual conversation data.
Wireshark is a pretty cool feature to decode the data captured VoIP calls playable audio format You can find this function under :
Telephony -> VOIP Calls
Click Select All then on Player.
You’ll see this player open, and you can listen to the VOIP conversation by clicking Decode then by selecting the source,
check before Frompuis by clicking Play.
